The Tour - Bridgewater

You are invited to join us for a day of fun choosing from four bicycle events - a 66.5 km road ride, a 33 km road ride, a 51 km trail ride or a 25 km trail ride. If cycling isn't for you, join us for guided walks or a hike. The events are designed for all ages and abilities. Children events are also planned at LaHave Athletic Field running from 1:00 to 4:00 pm and include draws for several bikes.
Please note our locations - the 66.5 km road ride and the 51 km trail ride leave from the LaHave Athletic Fields (655 Glen Allan Drive, Bridgewater - Map). The children's events are also at this location.
Our shorter road ride (33 km) and trail ride (27 km) leave from the Blockhouse Fire Hall parking lot in Blockhouse. (510 Route 325 Blockhouse - Map)
Our walks and hike are located in or near Lunenburg - the walks from the Lunenburg Community Centre and the hike from Stone Hurst Rd., near Blue Rocks.
IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT THE LUNCH ON THE WHARF
Nominal fee of $10/person for Lunenburg Wharf Lunch.
If you have taken part in our Bridgewater/Mahone Bay/Lunenburg Heartland Tour ride in the past, you have experienced the amazing lunch that our long-time partner The Old Fish Factory has prepared for us.
Please bring $10 in cash to your check-in location and you will be issued with a wrist band.

8:00 am - Check-in, registration & t-shirt pick-up (please register online to help us with planning and to reduce line-up time)
9:30 am - 51 km Trail Ride - on Adventure & Bay to Bay Trails, good conditions but with a few uneven sections
10:00 am - 66.5 km Road ride - new route, Download MAP
Mahone Bay – Blockhouse Fire Hall parking lot - Trail Ride
9:30 am - Check-in & registration (please register online to help us with planning and reduce line-up time)
11:00 am - 27 km Bay to Bay Trail Ride Lunenburg & return

11:00 am - 33 km Road Ride through Mahone Bay and Mader's Cove to Lunenburg & return Download MAP
Lunenburg Community Centre (15 Green St., Lunenburg) - Walk
10:00 am - Check-in, registration
10:30 am - Walk (various distances 2- 7 km) - Back Harbour Trail, good walking surface, finish on the wharf in Lunenburg Downlaod MAP
Stone Hurst Road (out in Blue Rocks Area) - Hike NEW EVENT
9:15 am - Check-in, registration, at the Lunenburg Visitor Information Centre, 11 Blockhouse Hill Road, Lunenburg, then car pooling to hike site as parking is very limited at the trailhead.
10:00 am - Hike the Blue Rocks Barrens - 1.5-2 hours
