The Tour - Truro

Truro is pleased to host the 20th annivesray edition of the Heartland Tour at beautiful Victoria Park again this year.
Everyone is encouraged to join us for a fun ride with the Heartland Core Team and community members. Cyclists may choose between a longer road ride appealing to those seeking a more challenging pace or a shorter ride intended for the novice or those wanting a more moderate pace - either is a great way to get your 150 minutes of physical activity.
If a road ride doesn’t appeal, there will be a 15 km trail ride.
Those who prefer to move on foot can sign-up for a walk in the park.
There will be children’s activities, prize draws and a light lunch.

THURSDAY, July 16
LOCATION - All events start and end at the Band Shell, in Truro’s Victoria Park (Park Rd., just off Brunswick St.)
8:30 am - Check-in/Registration, jersey and t-shirt pick-up (please register online to help us with planning and to reduce line-up times)
9:00 am - 48 km Road Ride. No significant hills but more challenging pace. Download MAP
9:30 am - 21 km Road Ride. For the novice and those who enjoy a more relaxed pace.
10:00 am - 15 km Trail Ride. On Victoria Park's trail system.
11:00 am - Walk in the Park
Noon - Light lunch, prizes draws, and closing remarks by Dr. Nick.
